With a weight of just 38 kg, the inlet grating is easy to handle and install without lifting equipment.
Large inlet cross-section
Featuring a clear width of 605 mm, the cast iron grating has a trough-shaped profile with a slot width of 31 mm and a maximum slot length of 115 mm.
The hydraulically optimized inlet area of approx. 1,200 cm² with a 10 mm pitch ensures efficient water intake—without an interfering hinge.
Screwless locking mechanism
Two highly wear-resistant plastic catches provide a secure, maintenance-free locking solution, enhancing safety and ease of use.
Cushioning insert
The BEGU frames are equipped with a PEWEPREN damping insert, reducing noise and wear.
System compatibility
Multitop inlet gratings are fully compatible with all Multitop manhole cover frames.
They are especially recommended in combination with BEGU frames, offered as standard.
Additionally, they integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure, including:
