The ACO Combipoint plastic road gully system is a modular, lightweight, and highly adaptable solution for surface drainage. Designed for use in public walkways, squares, car and truck parking areas, and roadways, it offers reliable performance across a wide range of applications.
ACO Combipoint PP - Engineered to withstand high traffic loads, Combipoint PP prevents damage through intelligent load distribution, mortar-free installation, and effective load decoupling. A new renovation adapter simplifies maintenance: damaged drainage components are removed, the plastic adapter is placed, and the rest of the system is installed using lightweight Combipoint PP elements.
ACO Combipoint PE - This one-piece drain body is ideal for use with electrofusion sockets, particularly in pipe connection areas, ensuring secure and durable installations.
ACO Combipoint SSA separation road drain - Designed to reduce the entry of solids into the sewer system, this drain now complies with DWA-A 102 standards, supporting sustainable and efficient water management.
To complement the Combipoint system, ACO Multitop cast iron tops are available for all application areas, ensuring durability and compatibility across the entire drainage solution.
Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent, and our road infrastructure is under growing pressure. Smaller traffic areas, increasing vehicle loads, and direct surface stress have led to a significant number of road drains becoming defective. Subsidence and sunken tops caused by damaged mortar joints are now common sights on public roads.
The ACO Combipoint plastic road gully system offers a forward-thinking solution to these challenges. Through intelligent load transfer, mortar-free installation, and effective load decoupling, Combipoint prevents damage before it occurs. This innovative approach ensures long-term durability and reliability in modern road drainage.

When renovating road drains, the existing base and pipework are often retained, with only the upper components replaced. The ACO renovation adapter provides a seamless transition between traditional DIN 4052 concrete elements and the lightweight, flexible Combipoint PP plastic components. This approach enables a modern upgrade while avoiding future damage.
Key advantages of the system include:
- Telescopic principle
Allows settlement in the backfill area to be absorbed, maintaining surface integrity over time. - Load-decoupled design
Eliminates the weak point of mortar joints, significantly increasing the durability and lifespan of the road drain. - Lightweight components
Both the renovation adapter and Combipoint PP parts weigh just 2.6 kg, making them ideal for use in confined or hard-to-access areas and simplifying handling during installation.
The ACO Combipoint PE road drain, made from robust polyethylene, is a one-piece solution designed for load class D 400. It is particularly suitable for use with electrofusion sockets in pipe connection areas, ensuring secure and long-lasting installations.
This system features a decoupled design between the drain body and the top, allowing loads to be intelligently transferred to the surrounding base layers. This prevents settlement, protects the structural integrity, and eliminates damage typically caused by mortar joints.
Installation is both easy and cost-effective thanks to the low weight of the components—ranging from just 6 to 10 kg depending on the size. This makes Combipoint PE especially practical for confined or difficult-to-access areas.

The separation street outlet (SSA) minimizes the amount of solids entering the sewer network. The process was developed in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Ing. Stein & Partner GmbH. The basic body of the Combipoint drain for wet sludge becomes the SSA drain, in which it is supplemented by a special double nozzle and the SSA insert. The SSA consists of a combination of the conventional road gully with floor outlet and the road gully with sludge chamber. This enables a three-stage separation of the solids contained in the road runoff. The core component of the SSA is an insert design for controlled energy reduction of the incoming road runoff outside the area of settled solids in the sludge chamber.
Passage value 0.6 according to DWA-M 153
NEW! The Combipoint SSA now meets the requirements of DWA-A 102 and has been awarded the IKT test seal "AFS63-Retention" in addition to the existing IKT test seal "in accordance with the NRW separation decree" - proof of the system's performance.
