Since January 1, 2025, the sewer casting division of ACO GmbH and Aguss Vertrieb GmbH have been merged under the umbrella of ACO Passavant Detego. This strategic decision strengthens ACO Passavant Detego's position as a leading specialist for manhole covers, technical covers as well as road and bridge drains.
ACO Passavant Detego, with production sites in Aarbergen and Mülheim-Kärlich, has a long-standing tradition. Since the 19th century, cast iron products for the drainage of roads and buildings have been manufactured at the Michelbacher Hütte in Aarbergen under the Passavant brand. This historical expertise is now being further strengthened by the integration of the skills and products from the sewer casting division of ACO GmbH and Aguss Vertrieb GmbH.
